This might have been answered before but couldn't find it...

My battery consistently stops charging at around 97–98% even when there’s more than enough (in my view) PV input available. Instead of topping up those last few percent, the system begins exporting excess solar back to the grid. However, it will charge to 100% if drawing from the grid.

Is this normal behaviour designed to protect battery longevity, or is there a configurable setting that allows it to charge fully from solar?

The picture is like a snapshot in time, do you have the full graphs over time showing it stopping at 98%?

Typically if left in self-use mode, the system will get to 100%, and then discharge to around 95/96% before it allows the charge to occur again. It will repeat this to preserve battery health.

Don't have the graph handy but what I've observed is that it'll charge fully when PV is high, say > 4 kW. Will try to get more data points.

You just need to look below the one you took a picture of, you can also go back on your history to check (18th June in mine)
