Forced charge should operate as self use while SOC is above set limit

I have found it frustrating to achieve the end result I want from forced charging without having to constantly intervene. The problem is that, while dependent on the next day's predicted solar, I generally know what SOC I want to start the day with - generally 25-30% at the moment, but this is difficult to do automatically.
I thought that forced charging would be the way to do this, but annoyingly it imports to cover power consumption even if the SOC is above the target, so the only way to run the battery down to this level is to run in self use mode until reaching the target level, and this requires manual monitoring and intervention.
It would be much more useful if forced charging would act as self use until the SOC dropped to the required level. It makes no sense to import power while the SOC is above the set target level.
