Fox ESS EV charger & multiple schedule charging times

Hi I have recently leased a Renault 4 E-tech. It charges well when working in Plug and Play mode.
My challenge is using it in controlled mode and scheduling charging windows (I'm on an Octopus cosy tariff which has 3 cheap time windows a day). For example: I schedule the charger from 2205 to 2355 and it works in that time window, but then asks me to 'Please re-plug the charging handle if you want to keep charging your car'. Which means it won't charge again in the 0405 to 0655 window. This is obviously not ideal as I don't want to get out of bed at midnight to re-plug in the handle.
Question 1: Is there a setting that prevents the EV charger defaulting to the requirement to replug the car in?
p.s. the Renault 4 is operating in plug and play mode i.e. no schedules are set. I have tried that but it seemed to confuse the both car and EV charger, or the EV charger would go to 'sleep' before the car called for a charge.
Question 2: Also, is there a setting to prevent the EV charger drawing power from my Fox ESS battery?
Thanks
Gary
