New to solar systems and batteries at home.

How often and for what reasons would I need to tweak and alter my scheduled settings once I'm up and running? Is something you barely touch once it's up and running or are their reasons why you might want to tweak/alter when it comes to forcing a charge from the grid?

You will get a dozen different answers to a question like that.
I depends on the user's needs, and each person has different use cases.

I use Home Assistant with 4 "programs" that run daily, to charge during off-peak rates, discharge early morning if the expected PV is higher than xx kWh. Whereas another use could just set it to self-use mode and never touch a thing again.
