The system switched from grid to battery and then back after approx 2minutes last night, now with battery at 98% charged home running on the grid all switches are in the on position nothing tripped out, my system is set to self use home and battery and then export to grid, cannot get it to go back to using solar and battery? any ideas?

Any warning messages showing on screen/app?
Have you tried an inverter/battery restart since?

No warning signs, have not tried restart as i wonder if the EPS is the problem when it operated it clunked like a 100a 3phase MEM mains board switch had been thown on the CHNT switch it shows to constant red lights one on source 1 and one on source 2 switch is showing a red 1. I dont know if that is correct?

I wish I knew what the errors mean, do you have a picture of this?
Maybe there is something in the manual (maybe) for what these lights mean.

did a system reset and it now says "G100 state 3" I have an 8kw inverter and 2x 11.52kw batteries and the Fox ESP BOX-SP, have G99 and alowed to export to the grid all installed by OVO energy

The manual doesn't tell me what the lights mean, so I am stuck helping you more.

Posting this a bit later, in case it helps someone with the same issue.

Our relatively new Hybrid inverter and battery installation got stuck with a G100 State 3 message (inhibiting battery discharge).
A power reboot did not clear this.

I found that there is a G100 sub menu under settings > on-line which included a reset option. On selecting this it changed from G100 state 3 to G100 state 1, and the Inverter home display then said "normal", and the battery discharge resumed.
Hope this is of help.

No clue why it went into state 3 in the first place.

Sorry I missed that you posted this, so yes you do need to reset this fault to clear it.
Incidently please check out davidwf15's post here... viewtopic.php?p=15671#p15671

You are both using the same EPS-Box-Sp viewtopic.php?p=15407#p15407 and getting G100 State 3 faults, cannot be a co-incidence.

I think you both need to compare notes
I hope that Dave or Will can see the post, there must be something going wrong with these units I think.

I queried this several times with Fox technical support and they said the most likely cause was a loss of communication with the meter....presumably meaning the meter in the EPS switch box.....which is less than 1m away....hmmm
