New work mode - Force Export

Dear Fox ESS Support Team,
I am a happy owner of a 42 kWh Fox ESS battery paired with my 19 kW solar array on 3-phase power in Ormeau QLD 4208, Australia.
I use the FoxCloud app daily to schedule battery discharge so I can maximise evening export credits under retailer plans such as AGL Battery Rewards (5–9 pm window).
The current “Force Discharge” work mode is the closest option, but it has a significant limitation: it only controls the battery discharge rate and does not take into account simultaneous household consumption. As a result, the actual net export to the grid is unpredictable and often falls short of my target.
Example of the issue
I want to export a total of 18.2 kW across the 5–9 pm window. My current Force Discharge schedule looks like this:
5–6 pm: 1.0 kW discharge
6–7 pm: 0.4 kW discharge
7–8 pm: 8.4 kW discharge
8–9 pm: 8.4 kW discharge
If the house is using any power during these hours (even 1–2 kW for lights, fridge, etc.), the actual export drops below 18.2 kW. There is currently no way to guarantee the exact export amount I need.
Requested new feature
Please consider adding a new work mode called “Force Export”.
In this mode the inverter would:
Let the user set a target net export rate (or total kWh over a time window)
Automatically calculate and adjust the battery discharge rate in real time to achieve exactly that export target, taking into account current household load + any solar generation
This would be a simple but powerful addition — basically “Force Discharge + automatic load compensation”.
This feature would make the Fox ESS system far more effective for customers on export-reward or time-of-use plans and would be hugely appreciated by the growing number of Australian battery owners.
I am happy to supply screenshots of my current schedules, export logs, or any other information that would help your development team.
Thank you in advance for considering this request. I look forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Stuart
