Weird crackling sound.

Hi Folks,
Last night there was a power cut in our area. The Fox app hasn't worked all day, I assumed it was a global down like we had a couple of weeks ago. However I think it was due to a WiFi repeater that failed to reconnect to our router after the power cut.

The app is now working but showing 0 power being used by the house and a switch from the Fox to our home is tripped. So I'm assuming that we're on grid power.

Worryingly there's a cracking sound coming from the top of the Fox Ess.

What should I do? No errors on the system screen. Can I turn the battery/inverter off? I have to go away for a funeral tomorrow and I'm worried about leaving it as it is.
I can't get in contact with the installer presently.
Any ideas?

I've got two fault codes 26 and 27.
I've turned the system off.

Codes 26/27 are grid lost faults which could be because of a local power cut but also an issue with the inverter/wiring - I would turn the inverter off and only turn it back on when you will be there, but from what you have said - if it doesn’t come back on when you turn the power back on or your hear that crackling sound, call your installer.

To turn it off, turn off your solar (PV) input which will be either a stand alone isolator or the rotary switch on the bottom left of the inverter, then switch off your AC breaker that feeds the inverter, finally power off your batteries.
