Is there a way to get any DC power from the H1-3.7-G2 inverter to power a Modbus-to-Wifi Adapter?

It is installed outdoor so there is no way I can run a ethernet cable or run an extra power cable to the inverter. But it will be really ironic that I can't get any power from a device that can power my entire house to power a little peripheral.

Sadly not, it’s not a G2-WL by chance (in which case you can connect direct to it’s wifi)

If you can’t run a cable to it, just thinking out of the box a bit but you could have a look at solar power banks

Hmm asking solar power to power something up to 12V sounds like a tall order to me...

I wonder if it is possible to draw power from the nearby USB port on the H1-3.7-G2 inverter to power it?

Or is it possible to use that USB/WiFi port to run a local network connection that allows me to control it? (Instead of trying to use Modbus)
