I am not very technical minded but thought I had mastered my solar panels and batteries. I have 3 batteries as we have night storage heating with economy 7. Once they are switched on for the winter they quickly devour all in the batteries and go on to economy 7 rate to continue charging. I normally then set the time for 4 hours before the economy 7 ends to charge my batteries as with the grey days we have been having I would rather use cheap rate from the batteries then normal sky high rates.
Suddenly my app on my android phone looked very different and now I have nowhere to get to my battery management . I did have a dig around and found Energy Stats app details. I found what was needed to set it up and wrote down the AVI code as it couldn't be copied on my computer. My phone is a small compact android and I rarely go in to it for going to websites so I use my desktop for most activity.
when I went in to set it up it asked for the AVI which I typed in but it seemed to wait forever trying to login . Then I saw a message telling me how to get the AVI on the phone. Unfortunately I can't seem to navigate my FOR ESS app details to get to the the AVI to copy and paste . Can anyone help me please. My phone is an android and my PC is windows so I can't load the Energy Stats on the desktop.
Is there any hope that FOX ESS are going to fix this or have I now got a system that is as useless as a chocolate fireguard, as I thought the idea of having it was to be able to control the batteries with the solar panels.
While the night storage heaters are on it seems to be charging the batteries at the correct time but I don't want to top up the batteries when there is no need in the summer months with the days getting longer.

Thank you so much I have watched the video and started to see how to do it . I then watched to the end but the information was clear and concise so I am sure I can actually follow and have control of my batteries again.
I am so glad that you have shown the potential of the app now though I must admit I was so used to the previous one that it still looks very confusing compared to the simplicity of the displays .
This is probably as I am still trying to understand most of the modern technology now!.
