Sorry I feel like I’m missing something obvious but how do I request the firmware upgrade from fox support?

I have a H1 Legacy Inverter it appears and the firmware is quite old thanks.
H1-3.7-E
Master 1.48
Slave 1.02
Manager 1.50

Cannot see a support request in the app. Only a contact us with email addresses.

If you have a gen 1 inverter, whilst there is newer firmware available, the general advice is unless you are suffering problems or missing a function it’s better to run with what you have (if it is gen1 with those firmware versions you will be missing the v1 scheduler); many of the newer features have been added to generation 2 of the inverters and sadly not gen 1.

You can ask Fox to update your system in the V2 app, click ‘Me’, Contact Us, Support - fill that in and when you submit it will raise a ticket (or you can email them but include your inverter serial number in your request)

Thanks for the quick reply. Basically with the new App they have now removed the options for forced charged so I can no longer set times to charge the battery from the app. I can still do via the Web portal.

Do you know if Firmware upgrade to Gen 1 will then allow schedules to be used in App ?
And is it worth the risk of firmware upgrade…..

Thanks

Ahh ok, yep the latest gen 1 firmware is stable, and does support schedules albeit it doesn't let you control the charge power but it will do exactly what the charge periods did.

Alternatively the old v1 app does still work for charge periods, but much better is Energy Stats by Al Priest (works on iOS and Android)
