Ive got a 5A invertor with 2 2600 batteries. Just ordered 3 more batteries.

I had a question which was around the varied deals that Octopus has.

As I understand it they have a low cost night tariff but I don't have an electric car but is it worth it when it comes to charging batteries?

If your usage patterns and battery capacity allow you to "load shift" a significant part of your electricity use by charging up during an off-peak period and using that when power is dear, then looking at tarriffs that support that is potentially very well worthwhile. That said, as Octopus Go is EV only, you need to take a long hard look at their other options and run some numbers to see if the combination of the off-peak and peak rates can work for you. I think they're not the only provider offering these sorts of deals now so worth a look around.
