Modbus connection: will my installer care?

Hi all, hope this is the right section for this, please move it if not.
I’m controlling my H1-6.0-E-G2 via Modbus (Waveshare RS485 PoE).
There have been a couple of occasions where the RCD for my system has tripped, and the installers are sending someone out next week to take a look. I don’t think that the Modbus connection has anything to do with it (I think it’s because they’ve installed a 30 mA RCD instead of the 100 mA that FoxESS recommend), but am wondering if I should remove the Modbus connection before they arrive?
Essentially, I don’t want the Modbus connection to be used as a scapegoat if there’s an issue with the system.
Has anyone had any issues with installers taking exception to the Modbus connection being used?
Thanks.
