Limit Charging power from grid

Hello, everyone. I have an H1-6.0 inverter and an EP11 battery, and I want to charge my battery overnight, but I need to limit the charging power from the grid... instead of charging at 6 kW, I would like to charge more slowly... 2.5 kW, for example. Is this possible? Thank you, everyone.

Yes, if you have the latest firmware and use the mode scheduler - you can set an FCPwr of 2500 and it will charge at that battery power.

If you are using the Grid Charge setting that will charge at the maximum allowable rate which is set by the BMS (depending on temp and SoC) but there is a setting in the inverter you can set to have a maximum cap to the battery charge current. The only down side to it, is that it affects PV charging as well so both would be restricted, but over the winter months I wouldn't have though it would be a problem - you can find that from the inverter panel in Settings (password=0,0,0,0), Battery, Max Chg Cur.
Note Max Chg Cur is the DC charging current, and with the EP11 and a nominal voltage of ~400V, 6.3A would be about right.

Thank you very much for your reply.

I'm using the mode scheduler but it doesn´t seem to be working… It's still charging at 6Kw.

Do I also need to configure the inverter parameters? I thought that by using the mode scheduler, I wouldn't need to make any further configurations...

Thanks a lot.

The changes only happened in a more recent version of firmware, it's likely you are running older versions - ask your installer or Fox to update them.

I'm assuming you are on a newer G2 inverter (the old G1 doesn't support the setting power in scheduler).

In the meantime, the second option will work regardless.

Yes, I'm using the G2 inverter.

I'll ask my installer to update it.

Thank you very much for your help.
