Battery Heater Not Working on EP11

Hello,
First of the very cold weather for my area in the UK and the battery warm up feature seems to not be working.
I appreciate cold weather impacts batteries but I thought this battery warming feature should be kicking in to prevent these charging issues.
I have an EP11 and a H1 5.0 G2.
Version - Master 1.31, Slave 1.02. Manager 1.48, BMS version 1.005.
Below is an image of the settings I have setup and it not doing anything, I understand there should be an animation when it is heating.
Rather annoying as now my heat pump is going to churn through the battery & cost me more than it should today as the battery is charging very slowly.

Contact your installer or Fox support and ask them to remotely update your battery firmware, there have been a number of revisions to correct faults - latest version is 1.011
And to be honest whilst you are there ask them to update your inverter firmware as well as that is some way behind, you can see the latest firmware versions here

Thank you Dave, I will see if I can get in touch with my installer to get them to update it.
Any reason why updates are not automatic? Plus whats the best way to stay on top of what the latest F/W version is so I can let my installer know to update me?

In all honesty the best policy on firmware updates is if it ain’t broke don’t fix it - there are often new releases that introduce new features (and bugs) that can be frustrating and pushing out Master updates will restart the inverter.
As the EP batteries are so new there have been a number of releases that correct the heater behaviour but as Fox do not provide release notes, it is best to keep a watch here for recurring comments and review the forum firmware page for latest version numbers.

The tricky part there is that I didn't know it was broken until the exact time I needed it. So had I known about this newer F/W or had Fox send out a bulletin I could have been updated prior to this cold snap and not waste money heating through the expensive rates.
Is there a reason why Fox don't try to inform customers or be more open with what is done in newer F/W versions?

Once you have updated the firmware, you will know as the heating range you can set changes.
Mine had -40C to +50C on FW 1.005, corrected when updated.
Here is a video of how it looks in action, recommend you set top min temperature to 9C (you can go lower, but charge/discharge is affected more)

All updated now, looks like it's not working now. Got up to 16c in 45-60 mins from 6c which is good! Now just to wait for the cheap period to come around again to test my automation

Glad to hear you had success, what FW is current, still v1.011?
