I have a Zappi Glo, but I don't know if what you are saying is possible.
Is there something online you have read that says you can do this?

Interesting, not something I have seen before, so thanks for posting.
I run Home Assistant now, so I have all of the information in my dashboard to view.
If you do crack it, then hope you can provide a small write up of the process.

Im not that advanced, even home assistant is a challenge

Hardest part of HA (for me) was wiring up because I pulled the plug to pieces like a doughnut.
I am not the main account holder for our Zappi, as I passed the "ownership" of the account over to my son when he came home from work after the initial setup with the charger installer.
If you cannot solve this, I might see about looking at the setup to see what's possible.

I have linked zappi to home assist, but this is where i ends, I heard about modbus, again this it where it stopped
btw, do you know why my battery was not charging when zappi was charging ev?
and what is the default setting for kh8 inverter for grid chargin current limit? when I set to 40a and more it does charge both ev and battery simultaneously, but anything lower than 15a it olny feeds ev

I think you can set 100A inverter limit, but it will never use more than it can physically handle?
EDIT: My KH7 is set to 50Amp limit by installer, I have not adjusted this.
For Home Assitant, I have it working so that when IOG gives me a cheap slot, the battery charges up, which works with dynamic slots or the overnight cheap period.
Is your inverter wired up to your HA currently?

Taken from AI google search, so you can take with a bag of salt...
The Fox KH8 is an 8kW (8000W) single-phase hybrid solar inverter known for its high efficiency (up to 97.8%) and compatibility with high-voltage batteries, featuring 3 MPPTs for flexible solar panel installation, an IP65 outdoor rating, and built-in emergency power supply (EPS) for backup power during outages, with remote monitoring via app/web, handling up to 12kW of PV power.
Key amps specs include a max charge/discharge current of 50A, max AC current of ~69.6A, and potential peak backup amps of around 48-52A depending on the source.
So as mentioned above, my KH7 is set to 50A as max charge/discharge (so you should be safe with this value)

thanks, my inverted is not hard wired to HA, only throu app integration which doe snot show me any accuracy on readings etc

thanks, I think I need to dive in deeper in this as I remember reading somehwere that charging at max /high A is not healthy for battery, I thould slowing thta charge cycle preserves battery health....

Maybe you need to bite the bullet and go for the full HA integration to your Inverter... it's adding two wires and picking up a USB to RS485 device to plug into the HA unit.
Mine sits in the garage and is attached to a wall, though a shelf will do.
I plan to use the battery and exercise it hard, all the "older" internet posts talk of doom and gloom for batteries wearing out fast (thinking of early EV cars) whereas they have done very well in punishing conditions.

maybe, but Im not confident, plus my HA sits on a nas so not sure how it can be connected to fox inverter

If you are running the HAOS on virtual machine inside the NAS, you will need to allow the VM to see/use a USB port I suspect.
So you would plug in a USB to NAS and hopefully the HAOS picks this up (buying the correct hardware device of course)
Hardest part, and this comes down to your DIY skills, is running a cable from the inverter to your NAS, so this could be a step too far. For now, what you have at least gives you a window into the system via the Fox Cloud integration, so you can see values, just not adjust.
