My newly installed system has been working fine for about 2 weeks. However, all of a sudden I noticed today that the battery was not charging. The PV system is only generating just enough power to cover whatever the house load is and generation goes up and down depending on the load but nothing is being used to charge the battery or being exported. Additionally, during a force charge window I had set up, PV generation was 0 and the battery was still not being charged either from the panels or the grid, I was just drawing power from the grid to power the house.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

Yes, I would recommend if you can supply information on your system.

If you have setup the Fox Cloud 2.0 app, then you can take a screenshot of your quick settings page, this will show us some basic details of your system.

If you have Mode Scheduler enabled, then if you have setup a Manual Scheduler, then can you show those.

On the home screen of the app, you can click on the bottom icon in the middle called Device. For your Inverter & Battery, you can click on the serial number just below each items icon, and it will pop up firmware page... you can post those two with your Serial Number erased (if you wish)

Hi, thanks for the reply. I managed to fix it by hard resetting the panels, battery and inverter. Still not sure what caused the problem in the first place, I didn’t have mode scheduler on and I have a KH10 inverter and EQ4800 battery.

The old turn it on and off like a PC, hopefully it behaves for you now.

Seems to be happening again, I tried changing the work mode to “feed-in” and it seems to work fine in this mode, the PV starts to export any excess power. However, when I change it back to “self-use” it goes back to no export and not charging the battery which is only at 81% SOC. I shouldn’t have to be hard resetting the system every few days.

If your firmware is at 1.52 there appears to be a known bug with the KH and Fox are working to release an update shortly (told this week)
