PV inverter help

Hi
I’m looking for some information please as I’m struggling to find an answer.
I’ve just had an EP11 battery and AC coupled inverter installed as an add on to my solar (3.28KW array).
When the panels were installed I had a Solis PV inverter fitted.
Now I have the Fox app I want to be able to see the PV generation in the app. This doesn’t work with the Solis inverter. So what do I need to change the Solis inverter to, to be able to see the PV generation in the Fox app?
Many thanks.
Nick.

Any reason why you didn't have the solar connected directly to the fox system so you can monitor it all in one app?
It's still possible but your installer will need to install whats called a ct2 around the ac output of the solis inverter and enable it on the fox app and you'll see the solar appear as GEN in the fox app.

Thanks Will
The installer who put the Fox battery and coupled inverter installed, didn’t suggest this. He said I needed to replace the Solis one.
I have googled to see if I need a new inverter in the loft to replace the Solis one or if the solar output can go directly into the coupled inverter next to the battery. From what I could see this wasn’t possible.
But to me (who knows next to nothing about solar/ batteries and electrical stuff in general) it seemed like going direct to the coupled inverter is what should be done.
I want to see everything in one app.

Depends, was the solis a new inverter or part of an existing FIT solar system? If net new, I would ask your installer why they didn't dc couple it as it's got many benefits if you do.

It was new when I bought the solar panels and not part of a FIT scheme.
So, do you think the solar PV energy can feed directly in to the coupled inverter without the need for another inverter?
