H1-5.0-E-2 ‘bricked’ by firmware update….

So 2 weeks ago Fox ESS pushed Manager 1.62 to my H1-5.0-G2-E without any request - this (hopefully an isolated case) “bricked” my inverter - with a CIO fault code and the other two firmware versions showing as 0.00 - previous versions were :
Fox ESS H1-5.0-E-G2 Firmware - Master: 1.31 Slave: 1.03 Manager: 1.48
Fox ESS ESC 2900-H4 Cube Battery - Master plus 3 Slaves - All V2 - 11.52kWh Firmware - Master: 2.002 All Slaves : 1.13
It’s still online in Fox cloud and three more remote tries with full system rebooted in between and further efforts using supplied files via USB stick also failed (the latter saying cannot read file or something similar despite correct stick type/format, directory structure and file names. Also tried 2 different USB sticks).
I had a replacement inverter delivered yesterday directly from Fox ESS under warranty, and my installer is coming to swap out on Monday morning.
However, it’s a newer H1-G2 with built in WiFi. Fox ESS support recommend using the original dongle to maintain plant history data etc. and there is still a port for it.
Good news that 1.62 removes the PV clipping when battery SoC reaches 100% issue though- this is an issue that I’ve been “in discussion with Fox ESS" with for some time now.
@Will - are you able to confirm that’s this is the correct approach please? Additionally, am I likely to be able to then connect the inbuilt WiFi to a second/new Fox cloud account and set myself up an Installer account to manager firmware myself?
