Additional HV2600 V2 additional battery best practice

Need to isolate the system, so at that time doing a full power down is probably easiest option.
The BMS 2 unit will need dip turning to 2 currently on 1. As going from 3 to 4 batteries
The first(top) battery has dip set to 1 rest arent set, believe the bms2 automatically addresses anyway so miffed as to why this is set to 1.
Is this actually significant?
Ie can I put the new battery at the top, and leave the dips as is or if at the top do I need to switch new battery to 1 and rest to zero, or can I set all to zero?
Going to fit after tea, as I will have run the batteries down then from full to about 70-80% depending on what we are having then discharge the rest to 50%.
