Charging Schedule based on Conditions.

HI All,

new to Fox and batteries in general, only had my system installed last week.
So far so good and it's running ok. Currently I manage to charge via solar during the day and have no need to charge overnight. However as days get shorter I would like to setup the system to charge overnight so I can start the day a bit higher than I do now, to ensure I don't run out of batterie and that I don't need to use grid energy during the day.

What I am trying to setup is:

To charge between 2am and 7am up to 70%, so once the sun comes out I have room to top up with solar power but on the other hand I have enough power even if the sun decides not to show up for work :)

Is this possible, I found the app not intuitive at the moment, I guess in a couple of month it all makes absolute sense.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.

You'll want to click on quick settings from the home plant view, then mode scheduler and then configure a slot like this.

Thank you Will for your quick response,

now reading it makes sense, went to mode scheduler and was a bit unsure if I should be in there, but your screenshot is brilliant.

So this max SOC limit is only valid until 7 and then is defaulting to the setting on the main screen.

Might be a silly question, what does the min soc on grid would change, i.e. changing this to 50%, or is this setting for the discharge mode?

Min Soc on grid should normally be 10% like minsoc, you have them both at 10% unless you're setup to use backup power, in which case min soc on grid reserves power just for power cuts.
