Bonjour a tous,

Je me lance comme premier Français sur ce forum.

Je viens de faire installer 6 panneaux plus onduleur central par groupe Verlaine j'ai réussis a faire changer leur onduleur par un modèle hybride pour pouvoir connecter des batteries. Je pars donc a la recherche de batterie chose très compliqué car aucun site français ne vend la marque FoxESS. Je finis tant bien que mal par trouver le site Senetic qui vends ce genre de matériel j'ai donc commandé un CM et un CS en 2900.

Par contre je viens de voir qu'il existait de modèle V1 et V2 et des connecteur A et B sur les modèles V2, Pourquoi faire simple

D’après vous est ce encore possible de recevoir des V1 aujourd'hui ? ou il sont trop obsolète ?

The ECS2900 V1's have been discontinued some time ago, the last few I was aware of were sold in October 2024 and so if you need to purchase additional units I would suggest you keep a close eye on eBay as these batteries are occasionally sold as people update their solar systems.

Alternatively you could purchase newer batteries (I would recommend the EPxx range) and sell your batteries on eBay, they won't take long to sell !.

Merci pour votre réponse, je n'ai pas encore de batterie (je me suis mal exprimé) justement j'attends de les recevoir et j'avais peur de recevoir des V1 mais votre réponse m'a rassuré.

J'ai hésité justement entre les ECS et EP et ce qui m'a décidé c'est le courant de décharge plus élevé sur les ECS (j'habite dans une zone assez reculé et les pannes réseau ne sont pas rare) et leur durée de vie, sur les docs techniques 4000 cycles EP 6000 cycles ECS.

Vous pensez que j'ai fait une erreur dans mon choix

Yes the ECS batteries have a continuous rated discharge of 50A, vs the 27A for the EP and the published number of cycles is higher for the ECS, that said they both use the same battery chemistry LifePo4 and whilst not stated by Fox it is expected that their battery characteristics will be similar making this more of a warranty/guarantees issue (you can buy an extension warranty for the EP batteries).

If you do go with the ECS-H2 the nominal voltage is lower at 115.2V and so with the 50A your maximum power will be 5,760W (assuming the inverter max power is big enough), whereas the EP5 battery has a nominal voltage of 192V and at 27A your maximum power is 5,184W so not a big difference.

It is difficult to recommend one over the other, the ECS can be more quickly and easily expanded and they look better also as you increase the number of batteries the nominal voltage increases which reduces the max discharge current needed. The EP5 is cost effective (with a reduced warranty) they must be wall mounted and quite heavy, it will also need an extra junction box if you decide to extend it - but these are both great batteries.

Lastly the EP-H series are fitted with small heaters and so if you have any doubts over cold weather performance this could avoid you having to install ECS batteries in an insulated enclosure.

Batterie stocké en intérieur donc pas de soucis de température, elle sont également amené a évoluer très rapidement j'ai pris le "premier" pack afin de voir a l'usage si elle se charge assez vite et ne se vide trop vite.

Suivant les résultats a l'usage je rajouterai 1 voir 2 CS2900 ainsi qu'un tracker solaire sur le deuxième MPPT de l'onduleur (il fait 2*4500W)

Ce forum est très intéressant il m'a déjà permis d'apprendre qu'il faut demander a FoxESS pour les update chose que j'ai fait et les conseils sont très pertinent.
