Help me understand string generation patterns

I’ve managed to get this graph of the generation patterns of my 3 PV strings:
PV1 and PV2 are on an East-facing roof, and are 2 rows of 6 panels each, with the 2 rows one above the other. PV3 is on a West-facing roof.
PV1 has a smooth curve, but PV2 and PV3 don’t have smooth curves. Why would this be?

In all honesty it’s very unusual in the UK to get totally smooth curves, more common in mainland Europe where the skies are clearer of light cloud.
How the strings face, what shadows may be cast from chimneys, aerials, gable ends, pigeons on the roof, trees - even scaffold if it is still up will all make a difference.
These are the traces of my 2 string system for the last 4 days, the very light / high cloud today and Thursday make the MPPT’s appear more ‘twitchy’ - your app graphs will be based on 5 minute samples, my graphs are taken from a direct modbus connection with a 6 second data sample.

Thanks Dave - it's not immediately obvious what might cause the discrpancies between the 2 rows of panels, but I'll try not to read too much into it!
