Recently, I got installed in my house T15-G3 with Datalogger W6.
After setting up wifi properly in Foxcloud 2.0 app, datalogger keeps broadcasting it's AP. i.e W-4xxxxxx
Now i am getting channel overlapping for my wifi devices which slows down internet on my devices. Channel of datalogger and my wifi router remains same. how to disable AP mode of datalogger?
Below are details of inverter & Datalogger.
Country / Region : Pakistan City : xxxxx Address : xxxxxx Inverter Hardware Version : -Master : 1.49 Slave : 1.02 Manager : 1.19
Datalogger W6 Version 1.05
Let me know if more info required.
Regards

The datalogger doesn't support being disabled but is unlikely to be causing major wifi issues as it's low power

I am having over 90% chanel overlapping and facing slow speed. Doesnt AP mode turns off just like my other smart devices in home. e.g Air conditioner, cctv camera ?
moreover is it normal that only red light blinks and randomly sometime green light in between ?
EDIT: I don't want datalogger to be disabled completely, just want it to work in station mode, instead of dual mode i.e station & AP

Hello,
Currently, you can't disable the AP mode. You could always swap out the wifi data logger with a LAN version to remove wifi completely but there isn't a middle ground currently.
Red light blinking once a second is normal, rapid blinking means it's lost connection to the cloud.

Thank You

I hope there comes an option to disable this in newer firmware version.

I find this so annoying. Interferes with my primary WiFi and the device follows any channel changes I do!
Why do you do this Fox ESS?
Surely they could program a 5min timer on the SSID broadcast after being plugged in (given the device has no physical button to use to toggle a pairing mode)?

+1 on this.
Having Ethernet-connected systems sat there spamming out beacons on 2.4GHz (which is already an overcrowded interference-plagued band) is nuts. Printers are often guilty of this too (how often have you opened up your Wi-Fi list to see it filled with "HP DeskJet" entries?) but at least that can be disabled in 95% of cases!
Out of interest - how easy is it to swap dataloggers (thinking about changing to the Ethernet-only version)? Is there any loss of "association" between your system in Fox Cloud or is that done by Inverter SN?
