Batteries for H1-3.7-E

Hi,
Moved into a house a year ago with an H1-3.7-E inverter, but no batteries.
Been running this such that we use solar for power needs, and export to grid (Octopus Energy) when less load required.
Thinking of buying batteries now but don’t know where to start. Looking at the forum I assume something like a master ecs2900 would work, and so I guess we would contact a local installer and ask them to quote us for provision and installation of that or similar? Any guidance appreciated.
Also, we currently have the battery communication error fault which others have mentioned, so I assume that would go away once batteries fitted. Alternatively we could clear that with an option through the web portal, though I think our firmware is not high enough to see that option, so will try and look at that too.
Thanks

Hey,

So in terms of getting your system updated and managed I offer a service for £100 a year where I can take over the installer side items remotely for you. Details here https://ecclessolar.com/digital-services/

For a small battery, I would recommend the EP range which come in 3, 5 and 11 kWh scaling up to four batteries for over 40kWh total. we have a discount from a number of suppliers here viewtopic.php?t=531

Also, where are you based?
