Still not sure why I use grid power even on a sunny day?

Hi all

I'm fine tuning my setup after moving into a new house. I have self-mode enabled and my solar produces approx 3kw on a sunny day (between about 10am and 4pm anyway.. ;) ). I have also set the batteries to discharge all day - they are 5.2kw and the invertor is 5kw.

When I check the app in the morning with the sun just starting to hit the PV, the batteries are about 70%. However, although there is still a lot in the batteries and the house load is low (maybe 100w) there is still some grid being imported - maybe about 20w? If the sun is hitting the PV and the batteries still have a lot of energy left, why do I still import a small amount from the grid?

Thanks in advance.

Just had a look online...even at approx midnight, there's still a few watts coming from the grid?
