I’m a new user and struggling to set up the mode scheduler to enable my EV to charge from the grid and not discharge my batteries.
Inverter- H1-3.7-E-G2
15kwh batteries
Pod Point smart charger
I’d like to charge the EV between 00.30 and 3.00 and then charge the house batteries between 3.00 and 5.30 this works but discharges the house batteries between 00.30 and 03.00. Current settings are as follows-
00.30 - 03.00 Feed-in Priority Min SOC10% max SOC 100% FDSOC 10% FDPwr 0w
03.00 - 05.30 Forced charge Min SOC 10% Max SOC 100% FDSOC 10% FDPwr 0w

Hi, if you want to avoid discharging the battery use work mode Backup between 00.30 - 02.59 (most inverters have it, if you don’t let me know and i’ll give you an alternative) - this will suspend any battery operation and maintain the current SoC.

Note the scheduler time periods run up to the end of the minute so to avoid an overlap your first schedule would be 00.30 - 02.59(:59) and the second 03.00 - 05:29(:59)

Feed in work mode only changes the priority of solar not the use of batteries.

Work mode on my FoxCloud 2 app has 4 options, which of these should be selected ?
Feed-in priority
Force Charge
Force discharge
Self- use

Oh that's a shame you don't have Backup mode it's so much easier to user

instead set a Force Discharge, Min SOC 10%, max SOC 10%, FDSOC 10%, FDPwr 0w

i.e. you are telling it to discharge with zero power which sets it to 'idle' and the batteries won't be used at all to power the house loads (or your EV).
