Hi all hoping someone can help. I had solar panels & battery installed in Nov 24. I am still yet to understand the app & instructions that ESS have sent me dont seem to help at all. My battery only seems to trickle discharge even when full & still pulls power from grid when surely if I have juice in the battery it should use that first? It seems to stop discharging about 18/20% whichni guess protects the battery life? I have absolutely no idea what most of the app tells me & now keeps askimg me about trees?? Is there a better more user friendly set of instructions anywhere please or can anyone help me with the above as so far apart my electric bill decreasing a bit I havent got a clue. Thank you all

I'm new to this as well and agree that we need an 'idiots guide' with simple instructions.

Sounds wrong if you battery discharge is not being used by default [mine does unless there is a really big draw, like electirc shower, when it also pulls from the grid].

Having read a few posts, could it be that one of the sensors has been put on the cabling the wrong way round? - I'm sure the more techies on this forum would have a better idea.

I'm also new to this with having the kit installed yesterday and the app today. Help on the app is almost non-existent, even a simple explanation of the different sections and icons/images would help.
