WIFI Channel assignment

Hi all
I have a relatively recently installation with only a few panels and 2 batteries
all now works fine after a lot of confusion caused by a dud cable!
Now I have a question that the installers do not seem t be able to answer.
I have noticed that the wifi used by the inverter uses the same channel number as the house wifi uses for its connections
Clearly both are quite close to the devices in the house so , based on a career in IT, this is bound to cause interference with connections
I would rather be able to control the channel used and assign it to use something away from those we use for everything else
So - I went onto the main router and changed it from automatic assignment and forced it onto channel 1 - which was free at the time
Shortly after I did this I checked again and the inverter had chaneged its channel number to 1 as well - in other words it seemed to have followed the wifi it was connecting to
Now - to be clear - this is the W-.......... website service that the inverter offers that you need to connect to if the wifi stops working - it is not the SSID it uses to connect to in order to send data for the app(ect) to use
Does anyone know if this is fixed - or is there a way of changing it to not follow the SSID used by the rest of the house
Thanks
Mike
