How to stop uploading to grid when battery not full

I have a new system some 2 weeks old and the invertor is uploading power to the grid, despite the battery only being around 30% charged.
Today it generated 5.2kWh, but sent 1.9kWh (37%) to the grid. Annoying as I used only 1.3kWh from the grid.
Using the V2.0 app and cannot see anywhere to change anything to stop this happening.
Can anyone advise on this, please?

Hello,
if the workmode is set to selfuse mode then the only way generation would be exporting is if the maxsoc is set to less than 100% or if the batteries are cold and being current limited.
Things to check are the battery temp and work mode being set to self use.

Hi,
The work mode is in self use, temp had been circa 6 Celsius today.
Battery maxsoc setting is 100%.
Battery reserve capacity is set to 20%, system min SOC is 10%
Many thanks.

Is it still mis-behaving? - can you post a picture of the graph at the bottom of the page you originally posted as it shows the grid, solar, battery power and soc all together.

Hi,
It's not uploaded to grid in the last 2 days, but we are very overcast, so not much production.
Attached as requested,
Thanks for your help,

Ok, thanks the graph all looks ok and is showing the correct polarity for loads, solar, grid consumption and battery charging.
I can see your BMS did a maintenance charge on your batteries approx 2am - either because they dropped below the Battery Reserve % you have set or the temperature was getting low (below 10C) - are you batteries outside? , either of those conditions will trigger a short maintenance charge.
Other than that everything looks healthy enough here so best to keep an eye on it.

Thanks for this.
The battery is outside and sheltered on 3 sides.
The top up charge has seemed to be because it drops below the 20% minimum charge every day, but I have now turned this off to see if it makes a difference. App would not allow me to do it, but found out how to do it on the desktop.
I will keep an eye on it to see if it does it again. Just need some sunshine now!
Once again, many thanks.

I have the same issue with my system which seems to feed in to the grid even when there is not much generation and the load is still in excess of the generation. The inverter is set to self use. My system uses AC1 inverter and 5.18kW battery storage. The PV system is a 13-year-old 4.0kW system with Fronius 3.6 IG TL. Yesterday I tried to adjust the inverter setting for export power and current to zero, but that's not made any difference. Any ideas what can be done? Thanks. Suresh.
