Setting force charge times

Hi,
I'm having issues using the app (and the website) when trying to set force charge times for my batteries. I'm on the Octopus Agile tariff, and can successfully set a price point in the app or website to charge my batteries overnight.
However, if I want to force charge the batteries during the day, I can't seem to set a time period or use the mode scheduler to do so.
On the app I can't disable the mode scheduler to manually set the two force charge time periods. If I use the price or time slot mode scheduler, although the app reports success, no charge periods are set.
Is there any way of either disabling the mode scheduler, or using it to set a charge period during the day?
Thanks!

If you are using the agile interface you cannot use any of the other charge controls (charge periods or scheduler) as it takes control and those settings will be over-ridden by the agile pricing you have set.

If you manually set your minsoc to 100% when you want to charge during the day, the batteries will begin a lower power bump charge which is probably what you want.

Hi Dave, thanks for the reply. At the moment System min SoC is set at 10% in my app. I want to charge the batteries for 2 30 min periods at 1030 and 1130 so that I have enough battery to cover me for the peak 1600-1900 period. If I resubmit the mode scheduler now with a price to cover my two periods nothing gets set. If I set min SoC to 100 when will the batteries be charged?

Actually just tried setting the system min SoC in the battery tab on the app, get error 44096 unsupported function :-(

Yes it’s the perfect storm, agile uses the scheduler to set its charge times and is supposed to be ‘set and forget’ and you no longer have charge control via the scheduler.
If you have schedules set and try and set minsoc it won’t let you (44096) because your scheduler is enabled and it will follow the last set minsoc from your schedules.

To set it in the app you would need your scheduler disabled and the moment you set it to 100% it will start charging but at a lower charge rate than normal.

Ok, so it looks like I see the system min SoC to 100, despite getting a 44096 error on the app, and now it seems to be continuously charging at about 0.64kwh - question is, how do I stop it charging? I've tried setting the system min SoC back to 10% but still get the 44096 error on the app, despite it reporting that the SoC is 10%?? I love having solar and batteries but hate the app/UI with a passion, it's so un-user friendly!

It's likely just data lag you are seeing, it takes 5 minutes for the real time data screen to be updated on the next data sample. If it has set it back to 10%, the inverter will immediately return to normal operation.

So the battery is still charging @ .64kwh even though the app is reporting 10% system min SoC, unless there is a lag of a couple of hours?

If both of your minsoc’s are at 10%, the it sounds like the current schedule has somehow taken on the 100% minsoc you set - try disabling your schedules, update the minsoc and then re-enable them.

Thanks Dave - it looks like the battery reserve capacity setting on the app (which I believe is the min SoC on grid) is stuck at 100% , so the battery is constantly charging and won't discharge - I'll try to set it on the website when I get home. Thank you so much for your help!
