Hi,
I am new here.
We installed a Fox H1 5Kw hybrid inverter and a 8.64kwh Fox cube.
The minimum SOC is set to 10% but it keeps dropping to 6% at times overnight.
My understanding was that below10% SOC the inverter will draw energy from the grid and save the battery from damage.
Please, could somebody help me and let me know:
1. how to fix this issue
2. minimum SOC before the battery gets damaged
Thank you so much.
Roy

It happens a lot in multi-pack batteries - the BMS will request a maintenance charge when it drops below a specific voltage limit and it calculates this across the pack, but it only knows the limits as it approaches the top or bottom of the soc range.
If the BMS is dropping below 10% it is re-calibrating it’s SoC based on the pack balancing and it is not a problem, it just means your pack is slightly out of balance and it is correcting for this - it isn’t causing any damage - your BMS will not allow that to happen.
It is recommended to do a full charge cycle (10% to 100% to 10%) from grid every few months so the BMS is able to track the soc more effectively.
