Dave, many thanks for your comprehensive reply! Will set things up as you have suggested and see how things go.

Dave have entered data as you suggested (after watching the video), but no success! I refreshed the page etc etc, but still get the message "Parametersdo not meet expectations"

I used

mode 1: 02.00 -04.59. Force charge, Min SOC 10%, Max SOC 100%, FDSOC 100%, FDPWR 5000
mode 2: self use, Min SOC10%, Max SOC100%, FDSOC10%, FDPWR 5000
Mode 3: force discharge, minSOC10%, MaxSOC100%, FDSOC 30%, FDPWR 3000

Cant see where I have gone wrong!

What is your normal minSoC set to, is that 10%?, if not can you change it to 10% as it won’t let you set the scheduler minSoC (on grid) to be lower than it.

My min SOC is set to 10%.
I have now tried to set just the two modes (forced discharge and forced charge) as the video indicates that at all other times the battery works in self use mode.
But no luck!

As it’s not behaving just need to ask a few questions which might narrow this down.

Have you used the scheduler before successfully or is this the first time?

Can you set a simple schedule something like 15:00-16:00 Self use, minsoc 10%, maxsoc 100%, FDSoc 10%, FDPwr 0 - save that and see if it accepts those parameters.

Have you ever tried to set the Octopus ‘agile’ connection up in the app (it overrides scheduler)

Can you post your firmware versions and i’ll check to make sure they are up to date - open the app, click on ‘Device’, then click the serial number below the inverter picture and it will list a number of items, the firmware i’m interested in is Master, Slave and ARM versions.

What size (model) is your inverter (3.7, 6, 7 etc..)

Dave, thank you for your continuimg patience and help!

No, I have not used the scheduler before. Until a few days ago when I found the Community forum I had no idea what to do to set up periods for discharging and recharging the battery as appropriate for the Octopus Flux tariff I joined when the panels and battery were installed!

I have seen the Octopus Agile option in the app, but am on the Flux tariff.

I have attempted to set up a simple mode as you suggested. Still get the refusal!

Firmware versions are as follows:
Master 9.42
Slave. 1.00
Version manager. 0.50
Version_BCU 1.001
Version_AFCI. --

No ARM version shows on my app.

I have not found any means of updating firmware within the app.

All I can tell you about the inverter (which is built in with the battery) is that the combined unit is an EVO 10-5-H, which I think means that the inverter is nominally 5kW.

I have emailed Fox to ask them whether they have any suggestions - no offence meant to you.

Ok thanks for all of that, it sounds like the 5kW version and no offence taken - the Evo is a relatively new product so this is very new to both of us :)

This isn’t scheduler ‘normal’ operation and given it won’t let you set even the simplest schedule I think this may well be a firmware related issue, you can’t update the firmware yourself, that must be done by an installer or Fox themselves so I lets see what Fox come back with - they are usually quick to reply.
