Fox ESS battery question
Hi,

I just had my solar and fox ess inverter/battery installed last friday. Last few days i see battery go to 100% during the day but today i see only 98% is this normal behaviour?

Thanks,

Mark

Re: Fox ESS battery question
Yes perfectly normal for that to happen, the batteries turn the charge power down as they approach 100% so they have more time to balance their cells and often it seems to hang there while that process is happening.
There is also a bit of hysteresis when the battery hits 100% as it will not start charging again until it has dropped below approx 97% - this avoids unnecessary cycling, heating and ageing of the battery.

Thanks David, working perfect today and SOC charged to 100%.
