Hi guys,
I had a net 32 kwh battery installed lately. In the mornings it is discharged as per the the LED lights on the side of the battery.
It shows full charge at about 10 am and holds it all day and last night when I checked at midnight it still showed full charge but was empty again in the morning.
All our cooking and hot water is on gas, all our lights are LED.
So all our energy needs at this time of the year at night time are some lights, TV and 3 fridges.
Our average DAILY consumption for this time of the year is about 17 kwh which includes my small workshop which I use at daylight hours.
There is no way that we would drain this battery overnight.
I also checked via the APP if the energy provider takes energy outside daylight hours but that wasn't the case.
Could it be in the software setting of the battery that it is set to accept only a small charge and indicates full at a set charge which is nowhere near full capacity? ( As some other batteries can bet set.)

Really need to see your data, can you post the graph from the app, swipe left on the home page and screen shot the graph at the bottom of the page that shows the load, grid, battery and underneath it the battery soc.

Your screenshots do not show what you're saying above. the battery is not empty by morning from what I can see.

Hi Will, I was asked to provide a screenshot but I was going off the LED's stacked on top of each other on the side of the master battery.
In the morning the bottom LED is blinking and as the hours go by the bottom LED stays on and the next one on top starts blinking and so on until the last one on top stops blinking.
I can only assume that that means that the battery is full and in the morning is empty (since I wasn't supplied with any manual ) just like on any power tool battery.

Hi Will, The first screenshot is a full 24hrs snapshot of yesterday.
The second screenshot is at 5:49 am before sunrise today.
The battery has a USABLE capacity of 33.54 kwh. On an average day at this time of year our Energy provider says we average 17kwh per day.
Is the battery capacity not as purchased, the programming incorrect or the setup incorrect?

It’s not the easiest to tell, but that suggests your average load consumption from midnight to 05:43 appears to be just under 2kWh - so around 10kWh consumed.
Your battery has dropped from approx 65% to 33% ~ 32%, if your battery stack is 33.54 then without taking any losses into account that would suggest 10.7kW - I think you need to look at your meters and statistics and work out your average load per hour / day as that snapshot stacks up perfectly in that your battery is being used to power your load.
