Inverter Manager Firmware 1.43 > 1.45
Hi,

I recently had my (KH-7) Inverter manager firmware updated to 1.45, however I now have an issue with the force charge on Mode Scheduler not actually force charging?. My neighbour with the same inverter has exactly the same issue following the update.

We have both reverted to the Non Mode Scheduler for Force charging which thankfully works but is not ideal. Has anybody else experienced the same issue and managed to resolve it ?

Many thanks,

Iain

Hi Iain,

Yes, I've had a number of reports for the same. I've filed a bug report with fox.

Thanks Will and thanks for your help in reverting the firmware 👍🏻
Re: Inverter Manager Firmware 1.43 > 1.45
I've had the same updating from 1.42 straight to 1.45 on two KH 10.5 i run in parallel. First thing I noticed was that the battery didn't charge, but then I noticed a host of other random errors when trying to change different settings (44098-Write failure, something about Index error, etc.). I also noticed there was a whole new section under the inverter settings, but all the text was in Chinese characters.
Luckily, 1.43 was still available in the dropdown list of the firmware update process. (It's like they were expecting it could fail? I've never seen a lower than currently installed version firmware available in the dropdown list before.)

The firmware update process in general has room for improvement though.
For one, release notes!
And second, I appreciate not having a forced automatic update feature (to prevent what just happened and the user being unaware), but at least a new version notification would be nice, and not having to set a reminder in your calendar - "Hey, check if there is any new firmware")
