EP11 Firmware

On my request, the BMW firmware was upgraded to 1.06 and then 1.07.

However, the app/web portal is still showing as ver 1.05.

Does the system need a reboot ? If so, what is the correct way to do this please ?

If you look at the cloud desktop app https://www.foxesscloud.com/ click under devices, inverter, then click on the view icon for your inverter. Then click on Battery Status, and you'll see the firmware version reported. Note that the EP is both a master and slave so two rows for one battery is normal. Here is a screenshot of a dual EP11 setup.

If it does not show correctly, then the firmware update didn't succeed.

As I suspected, mine shows 1.05 so the update has not succeeded. I have asked the installer to go back to Fox.

No worries, they should have known, as on the agent firmware manager, it says if something is successful or not.

For example, I had one fail first time around and it looks like this, so it's not like it's hard to understand the results

I do wonder if the installer asked them to do it, as that's twice now it hasn't worked.

Hi,

I have just had an install and noticed that my firmware is the 1.05 version for my EP11

I have seen that there is no release notes (I checked the spreadsheet and a few posts and could not find anything?!) but does anyone know what the difference between 1.05 and the latest 1.07 is?

I believe the main change was around the battery heater functionality which the latest version supports correctly.

ahh thanks, my battery is actually installed inside a cupboard ... its currently at 31.5degrees so no need for any heater here!!

If thats the only change then i dont think there is much needs to upgrade the firmware then, what do you think?
