Inverter located in Eastern Europe. T10-G3 model. Problem that time to time from working any kw randomly drops to 1kw or even 0kw.
It seems that some selfsafe in use.
Voltage AC on all is all three fases arround 237v.
It may not report as a hard error as it recovers as soon as the grid voltage changes - you will need to look in your error list to see if anything was logged at that time.
On the webpage if you go to the Inverter Details screen and at the bottom of the page you will see a drop down list where you can select sensors to view - choose RVolt and PVPower for the same period so I can see what those values are doing at the same time.
ok, thanks - there is nothing obvious there, all looks ok.
I would monitor it for a few days and if it is consistent in the time it happens and you do not have any major shadows passing over your array, I would contact Fox service with the date & times it happens and ask them to investigate.
Dave, I found that inverter restarts then voltage higher than 240v. Our energy supplier reports that till 250v are ok for them.
Is it possible adjust inverter to not respond exampl till 230 +/-10%, so tlll 253v.
Also I got the opinion, as I see only 4 min intervals, in that time voltage can be much higher from grid, bu why no error, in list also no error.
There are safety parameters that are set for the country you are in - there may be some changes that can be made but you would need to have installer access and make those changes in the app.
Are you in touch with your installer, can they make changes for you ? - if not raise a service request on Fox, and ask them to lift the high voltage limits on your inverter.
If the voltage tolerance can't be adjusted, there might be another option - I've heard of something called a 'household voltage optimiser' which can adjust the incoming grid voltage if it is persistently too high or too low. I have no idea how much it would cost, or if it would help in this scenario, but might be worth looking into.
