I'm in the process of installing the US H1 11.4kw inverter with the Fox hub g2. The inverter communicate with the hub and the hub has a wilan USB dongle. Anyone know how I can communicate directly with the modbus on this setup? It's different than the wiki on GitHub.
Thanks

We've never had (heard of) an US H1 being interfaced so far, and looking at the manual there appears to be an RS485 port available (one for meter, the other for modbus?) - can you confirm ?

The first 2 pics are the inverter and the second 2 are the hub. The inverter communicates with the hub and the hub is intended to communicate with the app via a USB dongle. Honestly I'm not completely sure how it's going to work. It looks like the diagram you posted is of the Fox hub. However it looks different than mine. Maybe that diagram is Fox hub gen 1? Would you recommend setting it up initially in the Foxess app?

Hmm ok, yours is slightly different from the US hybrid manual on their website but it looks like that P2 connector (right hand 3 pins) has an RS485 output that may allow modbus - but in all honesty it also may not, we’ve never tested one of these so it would be useful if you could connect an RS485 modbus adaptor up to the A/B pins and do some testing using modpoll to see if it responds.

But most importantly always set it up and get it working with the Fox app first

Okay thanks. I surely will try my best. I have very limited experience with any of this but I'm also motivated when though I'm short on free time lol. I'll check back after I've made some progress.
