Hi all, we're considering replacing our Huawei inverter and battery with a Fox 6kw inverter and 11kw battery. Could anyone help with the following please?

1/ will we get 6kw charge/discharge from the battery?
2/ can we set time of use for the battery, to charge only, from 11.30pm to 05.30am to take advantage of low rates tariff?
3/ can we set the battery to disharge only, from 05.30am till 11.30pm?
4/ can we set the solar panels to export all produced power to the grid?
5/ how does the battery warming function work, e.g. can it be set to permanently on?

Any other advice would be welcome!

Thanks in advance!

1/ The inverter will handle a maximum of 6kW on it's ac interface, the amount of power the batteries can provide will depend on the battery volts * recommended charge/discharge current - i'm guessing your 11kW battery is an EP11 which has nominal 384V * 27A is well over the 6kW your inverter can provide. so short answer yes, it will charge at (just under) 6kW and will provide 6kW comfortably.
2/ Yes
3/ Yes that is the default setting called 'self-use', and when it is not charging it will discharge to meet the house load (unless there is sufficient solar to charge)
4/ The inverter will always meet the house loads first so whatever work mode you put it in, that will always happen - but yes the battery will charge in priority to export in Self-Use, and the inverter will export in priority over the batteries in Feed-in work mode.
5/ The battery warming is a new feature, many of us haven't seen it yet, but Fox have said that it can be enabled or disabled and when it is enabled it will self housekeep managing the battery temperature within its set tolerances.

Dave Foster thanks very much!

So is it a case of either self use or feed-in mode, or does one apply to the batteries alone?
