Hi,
New install of AC-5.0E Inverter, can anyone inform me of the maximum Charge Power in kWh that this inverter can provide. (I am aware output is 5kWh)
Inverter: ESS AC-5.0E
Batteries: ECS2900-2

The maximum charge rate is also 5kW but it will depend on how many batteries you have (and what their temperature is) as to whether it can deliver it.
As you only have 2 ECS2900 batteries, the voltage range is 97-130V and with a maximum DC charge rate of 40A that would give you a charge range of between 3.8kW - 5kW charge rate at 20C.
If the battery temperature is 15C it will be limited to charging at 25A, and this reduces to 0A at -5C (see attached).
