Having had a play with version 2.0 for a couple of days, I see there is the option to run custom reports for a day at a time. This gives a whole shed load of stats at 5 minutes intervals including the PV(n)Power ones. My stats have numbers in PV1 and PV2 which match up with the PVPower shown on the web. Given that I can now see the PV generation for a whole day, is the approx total just the sum of the 5 min interval values?
Be nice if the reporting allowed a date range though!

It is basically that, in effect it integrates the values over a fixed time period to turn into kWh and sums them for the day.
Yes this appears to be accurate. The figure is for the PV generation for that 5 minute snapshot.
Say it says pv1 power is 1kw and pv2 power is 2kw, the following formula will give you the kWh generated in that 5 minute interval:
(PV1 Power + PV2 Power)/60 = 0.05kWh
0.05kWh x 5 = 0.25kWh generated in the 5 minutes.
You can then add up all of the values for the day to get the PV generation.
