Hi all, I'm struggling!
I have heard that you can daisy chain two hybrid 5kw inverters but cannot find any info or help.
I currently have 3kw solar with a grid tied inverter.
I want to add 7-8kw of solar to my roof and want to maximise input and output.
I plan to have around 20kw/h of storage
Has anyone daisy chained the inverters? can it be done? are there problems? how do wire the batteries (into one unit or split them).
Any help would be really appreciated! Jon

You can have a solar only inverter with a Hybrid battery system, but you cannot daisy chain 2 Hybrid systems as they will fight with each other to balance the loads - the only way to do it is to split your consumer unit into two and then wire them in series (see sketch courtesy of the Facebook group - the red wire is CT2 which you will need if they are not both Fox inverters so you can see all your generation in cloud)
If it's a solar only and Hybrid battery then you would install the Hybrid as normal with main CT connected on the tail of the incoming meter.
