As far as I know, I haven’t given anyone permission to run my inverter as a VPP, yet it says it is.
There is a logo with a red background and what looks like an atom in white on it
Anyone know?
E.On, but they insist it is not them.... which is why I want to find out how you can find out.

This is the closest mention of a 'smart' style tariff that could take control of your system.
What tariff are they claiming you are on?

Thanks. Fully aware of what they offer, and I had applied. However, they insist that they have no done it and they have no idea who is controlling my VPP.MaterialBarracuda48 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 19, 2026 12:19 pm https://news.eonenergy.com/news/e-on-ne ... ll-savings

Again, this is why I'm asking..... how do we find out who is controlling the VPP?
Maybe I need to be more explicit..... how do we find out who is controlling the VPP from the inverter end. SO if you don't know who is controlling it, you can find out and contact them with the proof and tell them to either stop or prove to them they already are.
The question is understood, just the most likely option is your energy provider has control.
Seems you did apply for it, but they claim they have no control.
To answer your more direct question, I do not know how you can tell who has control. I am using Axle VPP, but this only activates when needed and does not show on system as VPP controlled.
