What integration do you use to change battery SOC
Hi all.
I just wanted to find out what home assistant integration you use to set the battery SOC?
Neither the 'FoxESS - Modbus' nor 'HA & FoxESSCloud integration' are able for me.
Thanks
Alan
Re: What integration do you use to change battery SOC
The cloud integration is read only, but modbus will allow you to change it.

In HA if you go to Settings, Devices and Services, Foxess - Modbus and click on the ‘ 1 Devce’, you should see all the sensors and at the top the things that can be changed. The minsoc on grid is usually the one you change and is named something like ‘number.min_soc_on_grid’

What happened to max SOC? I can't change that and swear I used to. Someone told me (can't remember who) that the ability to change SOC was removed from modbus but the min's still work.
Re: What integration do you use to change battery SOC
Fox added a second MaxSoC but it’s not available via modbus which means you can no longer set it, in fact you can’t even set it on the inverters itself in the settings screen.
The only way to control battery charge is by throttling the maximum charge current (and resetting it once you’re done)
