Current tariff link-up functionality is not powerful enough to allow arbitrage. As it is based on a single threshold price, I would have to change it daily since the price distribution changes on weekly and seasonal cycles. A preferred option would be:
A) define hours where charging from grid is allowed
B) define max charge power and SOC target
Algo is then used to fill the battery starting from the cheapest hour. I.e. it charges in cheapest HH first, then in the next one if it hasn't hit SOC target.
