Hi Will,
As promised, I have created one document with pictures and detailed steps on how to carryout Energy cube upgrade. Let me know if this is fine and feel free to distribute.
Many thanks,
Prasanna

I've followed your excellent guide to the letter however no matter what I try, my CM2900 boots up into an alarm state when the 2x additional CS2900 batteries are installed. Changing it back to the original 1x master/ 1x slave setup everything is happy and dandy again.
My assumption is that the two new slave batteries are V2.0 and everything else is not (although this was only installed in Jan 2022).
I've reached out to Fox support and my installer regarding this but had no response. Is there anything I can do?

Hi, what do the serial numbers begin with, the first 5 digits, for your master & slaves then we can work out if you have a mix of V1 & V2?
Regards, Chris
Master battery: 60CM29###
Original slave battery: 60CS29###
Additional slave batteries: 60TS29###
Inverter (H1 5.0E) is 60BH50###
App shows:
Master Version 1.54
Slave version 1.02
Manager version 1.57
EDIT:
Ok so I think I've established that I have a mix of V1& V2 batteries.
Is there a workaround for this? Or do I need to send the V2 batteries back & source some V1?

A long shot as you posted months ago, but did you get an answers to whether you could mix V1 and V2 slaves?Ash wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 12:00 pm Master battery: 60CM29###

I believe that mixed slaves are only supported if you update your Master to V2Bagabeans wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 5:23 pmA long shot as you posted months ago, but did you get an answers to whether you could mix V1 and V2 slaves?Ash wrote: ↑Thu Apr 06, 2023 12:00 pm Master battery: 60CM29###

Have a look at the Facebook group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/foxessownersgroup there are quite a few owners there with these batteries and can advise (there may be a few v1 packs still available)
