Good afternoon,
I just though some might find it reassuring that my experience with upgrading all components to the latest version has been perfectly pleasant and all is working well. I'm running an AC1 5.0 with ECS4100-2 V2.0 (1x Master, 2x Slave) battery stack feeding into Home Assistant for automations and monitoring. Takes about 10-15min per update and it looks like one has to step through all versions one after the other but apart from that it's easy to do. Details on my current install:
Smart Lan Data Logger (Wired Ethernet)
Datalogger Type: L3
Datalogger Version 3.14
Inverter Model: AC1-5.0-E
Master Version: 1.60
Slave Version: 1.02
Manager Version: 1.63
Battery ECS4100-2 V2.0 (1x Master, 2x Slave)
Battery Master Version 1.008 (bcu)
Battery Slave Version 1.07 (bmu)
bmu 1.11 install fails with error "failed 41206", at closer inspection the chinese upgrade note explains why:
"For upgrading ECS2900 1.0 and ECS41001.0 batteries in ECS2900 2.0 and ECS4100 2.0 hybrid systems"
