Battery charge issues following firmware update
I recently updated the firmware on my H1-5–EG2 system and ever since then I have not been able to charge my batteries against the schedule I have for overnight (system status is self use). The batteries have charged through the day without issue from the solar panels I have and discharged as I would expect throughout the day.

Firmware settings:

Master : 1.53
Slave : 1.04
Manager : 1.7

Tried hard reset and that doesn’t appear to have had any effect Tried charging my EV last night which worked fine until the scheduled battery charge time was enacted and switched off EV charge and didn’t charge the batteries

Any ideas or suggestions

Hi Dave,

Checked those settings as I had a similar problem the last time I had a firmware upgrade.

The settings are at 100A and 23000W respectively. Any further ideas?
Re: Battery charge issues following firmware update
They should be fine for import limit so it won’t be that - so either a corrupt schedule or a maxsoc issue.

Start by turning off and deleting all your schedules, set workmode to Self Use.

At the inverter panel itself, go into Settings and Battery, depending on the firmware version you may find a MaxSoC (which should be set to 100%) and also a MaxSoC from Grid (also set this to 100%).

Re-create your schedule to charge overnight, with your required charge power, Charging Cut-off SOC set to 100%, Charge from Grid on and enable the scheduler.

Fingers crossed ;)

Hi Dave,

I couldn’t find the schedule settings in the app however I changed the schedule settings on the inverter and noticed that the settings pre firmware for timings had gone so set them up and enabled the schedule however charging still did not take place against the scheduled times
