My FoxCloud2.0 App now shows the same as the dashboard picture in the first post for about 20 mins.
I do have ModBus wired up, and the system is running fine, PV still working, as is the battery.
Here is the picture, and my battery shows as offline in the App.
Odd part, via ModBus, when checking, it shows the battery stats, and I can ask it to charge/discharge just fine.
Same problem here. What a crap! Fox ESS having problems every 5 min. How can they bring to market such a buggy product?

Can you, or anyone else affected today see their battery SoC on their Inverter screens.
Because as per my previous post, I am seeing same as you guys with the Fox App, but local Modbus connection shows it working perfect.
I have the same issue. The SOC on my inverter is 100% but showing as offline on Fox App. It did come back on the app for around 20 minutes at 12:30pm

Mine ie the same working ok up to 10:00 came back from walk and now showing no data.
There is a message which says:
Due to other poorer generation devices in the system the load value is negative.

Usually, yes. Because the problem is the cloud connection, not the equipment itself.MaterialBarracuda48 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2026 1:09 pmCan you, or anyone else affected today see their battery SoC on their Inverter screens.

At the inverter it says SOC 98%. But both the mobile and web apps report nothing is working.
Like you said, surely Fox Ess have puched a new firmware update and broke everything. No warning, no opt-out of the update, nothing.

Has there been any update from Fox on this issue? Its clearly something back end. Ive sent a couple of emails off, but have yet to get a reply
Mine went down at 12:33 today (i.e. around an hour ago). It looks like the Fox Cloud system has failed, as others have said. The inverter is working correctly, but cloud communication is down. Just to be certain that the issue is not at my end, I have reset the dongle's wireless settings and rebooted my router.
A recent firmware update is definitely not to blame at my end, as my H1-6.0-E-G2 is on the same Master 1.51, Slave 1.04, Manager 1.69 firmware that it has been on for the past few weeks.
Same issue as well. System is running fine when looking at the screen on the inverter but when I checked the WLAN nothing was appearing. Full reboot done and I can connect to the system again but still no data is coming though.
Echoing others here… everything is working fine locally, but the inverter doesn’t seem to be able to talk to the cloud service. Guessing an outage.
I also don’t see a firmware change via my Modbus connection so I don’t think this is a dodgy firmware release (thankfully!)
We shall wait and see!

Just called FoxESS UK Support line, although I think the call was answered in China (just a guess
).
The agent advised the issue is acknowledged by the tech team and a fix will be issued by 02:00 GMT.

Mine’s been down for an hour. What’s slightly annoying is that the fox cloud services monitor says everything is fine.
Agreed - the FoxESS status shows as green. It also doesn't provide a timestamp for the status... Could have been a status update from days/weeks/months ago!
https://updownradar.com/status/Fox-ess.com is reporting 47 logged faults for this issue. Seems to be a more reliable resource.

Not much use when it doesn't actually show there's an outage though.MaterialBarracuda48 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2026 1:50 pm A monitor you can look at

It does show a time stamp on the bottom of the page @Steve2359
I suspect it shows more like "the lights are on, but no one is home"
So the server is powered up, but the database on the inside is broken.
They will be doing repairs, and our systems will come back at some point.

Also having the problem myself. Can see multiple reports via https://updownradar.com/status/Fox-ess.com as well. My inverter is showing "normal" and I can see export via MyEnergi, so the device is still working.
Hi,
All my readings in the app disappeared around 1pm this afternoon. Before the crash I could see that my batteries were fully charged (a lovely, sunny day in the South of England
). I can see from the Octopus app that I'm exporting around 4.7kW to the grid, so panels/inverter/etc. seem to still be functioning.
I'll have to wait until I get home from work to see what's actually crashed and if a good ole reboot will sort things out from an app/web perspective.
What with this and the App issues, seems like Fox are skipping the software testing stage again...

Rang my installer about an hour ago, they eventually got back to me and said they contacted foxess , apparently they are doing maintenance , they've had a fair few calls about it
