Charge from grid

We can set the time we charge from grid, but it would be good if we could also set a limit on how many kWh we take from the grid too

Eg from 6-7am charge 5kwh to battery.

Time is great, but you have to the maths to work out how many kWh it's going to draw. This becomes affected by whatever else you have running at the time eg heaters, aircon etc which can be power sucking aliens.

Yes agree, sadly with the existing apps everything is in time and you have to 'guesstimate' your usage to get close.

If you want that level of control you might want to consider home assistant which will control the inverter locally and you can do all the maths you want in that to hit your targets.
